Welcome to Mama’s Mumbo Jumbo!
I’m Jennifer.
I am a wife and a working outside the home mom, who is sleep deprived from staying up too late just to have a little “me” time.
I’m a junk food junkie, and desperately need an intervention so I can lose the baby weight from my last pregnancy.
I love photography and would love to one day turn my passion into profit, but for now I am still learning and trying to build my confidence to enter such a competitive business.
If I had the time I would love to read a book (one that doesn’t involve discipline, strong-willed children or childhood illnesses), scrapbook my thousands -yes, thousands of photos, or watch a movie that has a rating higher than G.
I am new to blogging, and would love to hear from you in comments or emails. Follow my journey as I work to repair the broken relationship with my firstborn, and work to maintain balance between work, home, family and friends.
My Family:
The Captain/My Hubby- My very supportive husband, who encourages my many aspirations. He is a part time charter boat Captain and a full time student. He loves NASCAR and all things outdoors especially anything water related.
My Firstborn- My 19 year old daughter from my first marriage. She is attending college pursing an accounting degree. If I could do it all over again, there are so many things I'd change. She is beautiful and loves to dance.
The Big One/Doodlebug (Bug)- My 6 year old daughter who is imaginative, energetic and often makes me want to pull my hair out. She is extremely sensitive and a born leader. She loves the beach, arts and crafts and school. She is annoyed by her sister and thinks the world revolves around her baby brother.
The Little One/Baby Girl-My 3 year old daughter who is my limit tester. She loves puzzles, music and arts and crafts. She does not like change, but is my most laid back child. She is intelligent and blatantly defiant, but loves to snuggle with mommy.
Baby Boy- My 18 month old son. He loves food, cars, trains and planes. He hates loud noises and for any one else to sit on mom or dad's lap. He is a climber and you can't sit anywhere without him climbing on you like a jungle gym.
T-Man- My 20 year old stepson who lives with his mother. He is currently attending the electrical program at a local trade school. He loves paintball, video games and Star Wars.
