Look who turned FOUR!!

Bug requested a princess birthday theme, which is fitting because she certainly is a princess, and loves everything princess! We had princess plates, cups, balloons and decorations. Of course we had princess tiaras, because no party is complete without the party hats! We invited the few people we know- friends we met at our local library's weekly story time, and we were lucky enough to have Grammie here visiting for the birthday festivities. Although the party was small, Bug thoroughly enjoyed herself!

I stayed up until 2am the night before the party making Bug's princess birthday cake. I used fondant icing for the first time, and was so happy with how it turned out! She LOVED it!

Of course there were presents:

Getting a little help opening presents from her BFF B

Some of our party guests: Grammie, B's Mommy, Daycare Mom and Baby Girl

Baby Girl likes eating the paper

The awesome tent that Grammie made- of course it had to be hung as soon as it was opened. I was pretty sure that would happen, so I saved it for last.

Then we snacked and visited a little.

Then it was time for cake!
She loved having everyone sing  Happy Birthday to her

Make a wish... "I wish that I could sleep outside ALL night!" She has been wanting to camp out for about 4 months now.

We had a little fun trying on the party hats
Daycare Mom and Mimi

After our guests went home it was time to play with the new toys. Bug wore the tutu from Daycare Mom as a dress so that she could be like Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell's dress has no sleeves or straps, so she pulled the tutu "under her armpits" so that she could have a dress with no sleeves or straps. LOL

This was Bug's first "real" party where there was more than just us present and she had a blast. I'm so happy that it turned out so nicely, as she had a hard time waiting all year for her birthday to come, while her friends were having birthdays.
